See above. I have had sensory issues my entire life and feared that I would have a kid with the same challenges. I am a pediatric nurse and have a lot of anxiety due to my exposure to kiddos with all sorts of diagnoses.

4. Is there any immediate help you need?
Name & Number to a great family therapist.

5. SPD doesn't run your life! What are you or your child's gifts? Interests?
He is extremely charismatic and lights up a room, loves to laugh & is a very quick learner.

6. What do you like to do in your spare time? Any hobbies or interests?

Welcome. There's much to learn. I've been both encouraged and discouraged on this forum, but I'm glad I stuck it out. I learn a lot and feel blessed that I can share thoughts and feelings with others who know what I'm going through. I hope you find the same.Smile
