Finally! Relief and time for healing. After having my sensory integration get worse for over a month things are back on track again. What I find unbelievable is what caused it.Misaligned mouth muscles. The muscles bunched up against the jaw, putting pressure on the jaw and putting it out of alinement. The jaw then turtured the ear, making the ears painful, that affected the balance causing pain, panic and nausea, the pressure on the ears affected the eyes and put pressure on the eyes. All this put pressure on the spine and irritated it. Spinal irritation affected my sense of touch. My chiropractor discovered that the muscles in the mouth were misaligned and her corrected all the numerous misalignments. It was a marathon session. Now my mouth and cheekbones and jaw and ears and eyes hurt but I am out of the torturous downward spiral I was in and I am on the mend. Praise the Goddess for my chiropractor and what he can do for me. I can't tell you how much he has helped me. I have been going for years and his adjustments have helped my body awareness immensely. If you can afford it goto a chiropractor who treats children because that means that they are gentle.
Wow, that's awesome! I'm glad you were able to get help and figure out what was causing the immediate issues you were facing.

Muscles, bones, and joints can make a big impact on how the nervous system operates. It's one of the reasons why cranial sacral therapy is commonly used to help treat SPD. Chiropractors can be great, I am sure. I just haven't been to one before, haha. Thanks for sharing. Smile
