Hey guys,

As some of you may already know, October is National Sensory Awareness Month, otherwise known as NSAM. It is our official month to advocate for the SPD cause. I have been racking by brain, just trying to come up with something cool we could do to help celebrate the event and spread the word about it.

So, I felt I should ask the members of this site. What do you think we should do to help promote our cause this month? I know Kathleen Morris, at SI Focus Magazine, does her awareness packets, but how about us? Should we start doing something? If so, what?

Feel free to post if you have any ideas or suggestions, or just general questions of feedback on the idea. Thanks Smile.
Oh, gosh, I had no idea we had a whole month to ourselves. Whoot! Tongue

In all seriousness, I'm not the best promoter in the world. But I'd be glad to help doing whatever. Wonder if we could make some kind of graphic/ad that represents aspects of SPD and see if some OT's or other places like that would post them on their sites? Just a thought. If it really hit home, folks could pass it around on their Facebook pages and stuff. Just to raise awareness. I've rarely seen anything pass more quickly than it does on a Facebook page.

Too bad there aren't enough of us to start a t-shirt campaign. Tongue I'd love to see what that generated.
