SPD is causing lots of issues with a child in school. He is basically the class clown (his teacher doesn’t stop complaining about it…). His attention span is like almost nonexistent. And he HATES structured organized activities in school.
His lack of organization is utterly annoying. He’s repeatedly loosing things. And he’s as untidy as ever - forever with open shoe laces, untucked shirt and rolled down socks.
He is extremely impulsive and aggressive too.
I know he is suffering from SPD but I very badly want to understand what these behaviors have to do with Sensory processing disorder…any explanations?
