National November Writing Month!

Is anyone doing it? Has anyone started? I'm planning on a story to write, I just have to tie some ideas together Big Grin

I've wanted to do this for years but I've always forgotten. Now's my chance to do it. Smile
You know, I've wanted to do this for years, too, but never did. I know I'll never hit the 50.000 words, but I think I'll have fun focusing my energy on writing for a change. Tongue Do you know what you want to write about?
Oh, I totally would be all over this in a heartbeat, but November is just always so busy! I'm really cramming away, trying to get my coding homeworks done on time, and man is JavaScript ever time consuming. Eeesh!

I would take this time to start in and make some way on that SPD resource book I am writing, but even that has to take a back seat in lieu of school and work until the 3 week Christmas break coming up in mid December. Good luck to everyone who is able to participate in this though, and feel free to share parts of it if you're comfortable with doing so on here. Big Grin
ahh I totally did NaNoWriMo in 2006! I loved it!!! I did it cuz I didn't believe I could do it. lol. And even though my story sucked and I still haven't written an ending for it, I was so proud of myself for writing that much!!

You can do it Sila!! My advice - figure out how many words you need to write a day or in a week, and then don't let yourself fall behind. That's how I did it at least, but everyone has their own way.

Good luck!!!
I signed up for NaNoWriMo, but the month has already stolen most of my writing time...if anyone is looking for another online writing 'prod', there's Write or Die! I've yet to try it out, but have it in my favorites because it will prod you to keep writing when you pause - just be sure to copy & paste what you write into a word document of your own, since the site doesn't maintain accounts that save your work. Here's to good writing energy for you! Cool
