I've had a lot of trouble with computer games using excessive animation, and/or flashing/flickering light. It can be disorienting and/or painful and/or migraine-inducing.
I have had to stop Shadrowrun: Dragonfall because of the flickering streetlight effects. I haven't even been able to start some other games. I have enjoyed Loren the Amazon Princess and its sequel. (I think the Steam version has more extensive romance versions than the Apple store version.)
Thoughts?
