I have significant pain when trying to rub a smart phone. I can not use them without a stylus. After 15 seconds of rubbing anything my finger is in so much pain that if feels like rubbing it in acid.
I have had trouble with rubbing pain since I was a child. My mother cut all of the tags out of my shirts so that I could wear them comfortably. I can't massage or be massaged. My wife can not stroke my shoulders more than one time, the second time in the same place hurts. I have to take my wedding ring off every time I wash my hands and wait for the finger to dry to put it back on.
None of this was a big deal until smart phones came along. I feel left behind in technology because they hurt so much to use.
Have any of you had trouble with rubbing smart phones?
Does this indicate that I have SPD?
Is there any treatment for the pain of rubbing?
