Hi, I am trying to find out what kind of professional an adult would need to see to get evaluated for SPD.

An adult is evaluated for SPD by an occupational therapist, just like children are. I can be a little difficult to find an OT who has experience working with adults, but there are some out there.

Thank you so much! What a relief. My family doctor didn't seem to know much about SPD and tried to direct me to a psychiatrist, but I didn't think that sounded quite right.
