Grats Kaw! I know you can do it, gogo 6 months Big Grin
hug I am so happy for you! You are really doing a wonderful thing for yourself there. That is absolutely awesome. Big Grin
kaworuchan, congratulations on the 3 month coin. I am looking forward to seeing that 6 month coin posted about!
Congratz!!! You can do it!!! =D
Well, now I can honestly say that I have a wide circle of real-world friends.

Most of them I met through the program, which should come as no surprise. But it is easier for me to socialize with people in general now, thanks to the tools given to me.

I spend most evenings outside of my apartment with my friends now.

That is improvement.
hug I am so impressed by you, Kaw. And I'm so happy that, in addition to doing something major for your health and well-being, you're pulling out huge improvements to your life at large. Just... kudos to you. This is really awesome.
Now I have four months.

I figured that since I had that under my belt, I can work on cutting another poison out of my life - high-fructose corn syrup. Wish me luck on that - I am quickly finding out that very nasty stuff can be found in anywhere at any time. My family is trying to discourage me from this new venture of mine. It's been a week since I knowingly consumed it, and I feel healthier and less sluggish already. I can't help it if it's in something I order at a restaurant or it it's in one of the ingredients of something a family member cooks for me - but most of the time, when I am shopping and cooking for myself, I find that it can be avoided rather easily. There are variations and brands of almost everything that are made without HFCS these days, after all. Just have to know where to shop for them, and I just have to keep reading the ingredient labels before diving into a purchase.

Hehehe.
I am allergic to Corn, so I have had to avoid HFCS for years. Let me know if you need assistance in figuring out all the products it is in.

Avoiding foods that have sauces and marinades also help.

Baby Carrots are saturated in a Citrus Wash water that contains a large amount of Corn (more corn than carrots in the bags). I highly recommend avoiding Baby Carrots and only eating normal Carrots.
How is it going so far for you?
Avoiding HFCS is a complete pain in the ass, but my body is already starting to thank me for it.

Five months, and counting. Now I'm official coffeemaker at my AA homegroup. Heh.
