Hi!
My name is Beverley and I am the mother of a son (will be 5 next month) who has been diagnosed with, first, SPD (and dyspraxia and oral hypersensitivity) and later PDD-NOS. I joined the Yahoo Group SID-AllAboutKids about a year and a half ago when I first learned of SPD and it has been a huge source of information, comfort and support. My son and I have been gluten-free for almost 11 months now and it has made a world of difference for us both.
My husband (of 15 years this month) and I live in the coastal region of NC. We previously lived in Fayetteville, home of Ft Bragg, where my husband was born (his father was Army 82nd Airborne). When my son was born, we moved back to my hometown of Jacksonville (NC). In addition to our only child, we have 2 dogs and 2 fish.

. I'm not able to join, but I do support it. It's great your marriage has lasted so long. It's sad how rare that's becoming. My parents have been together for 31 years now, and that's more than most people I know of.
