I am a great aunt with permanent custody of a little guy with DAD, SPD and impulse control issues. He is 4 yrs old and has been in behavior therapy for DAD for 6 months. Two months ago we started OT where he was diagnosed with SPD. His impulse control is a major issue. He's a runner! He will be starting preschool in the fall and we are petrified at the thought of it. He goes nowhere without me or my husband. In public places we hold his hand at all times because of his impulse control. I look forward to all I can learn with this forum.
