Hi, I would really appreciate advice from parents of adults with SPD... our son (22) apparently does not want to try to help himself . I see him being irritable a lot and would like to suggest ways to help him calm himself down from feeling from bombarded from his senses .
Most of our relationship his whole life has been me trying to pressure him to do every day things he doesn't want to do. Right now all he wants to do stay in his room and read and play video games
I'm also working to develop camaraderie with him so we can care for each other and help him to trust me.
