Hi everyone,
I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter who has just been diagnosed with SPD. Ever since she was a baby we have always said she is one of a kind, very bright, sweet, quiet, very serious and extremely highly strung. We know she has always been different.
However starting Kindergarten this year the "cracks" started to appear, constant crying, meltdowns for things like getting hair done, touch and sound.
So here we are, I am overwhelmed and don't know where to start to help my daughter. She has had her first OT session and will continue so, I would love to here any advice.
Kirsten
