My daughter has had unusual behavior that occurred immediately after OT. Sometimes she's just limp and wants to sleep, sometimes she's really hyper and can't get under control, and sometimes she's just really irritable. We had a week off because of Sandy, and she had such a good week. I know she needs the OT and it's stimulating her central nervous system, but sometimes it's hard to see the forest through the trees.
Make sure you tell your OT about this reaction next time you see him/her. They may need to make some adjustments to her sensory diet.
