Hello everyone, i'm new to this site and thought it would be fun to get to know some people who (like me) have SPD and their experience with it.

When I was 6 or 7 I was diagnosed with SPD, it was really rough when I was younger however my mother helped me through it, she took me to therapists and was patient with me when I was having a hard time. (thanks mom!). Now at 23 I know what works for me and what doesn't and can live day to day with no struggles (except for the times where I have to purchase new socks or pants).

A bit more information about me

I love to play video games! Though i'm a casual gamer (no hate haha). I also love to draw!

can't wait to talk to you guys!
Hey! Welcome to the site. Smile

Sounds like you've known about your condition for quite a long time and have had some really good help. I'm glad to hear it's paid off so well to greatly minimize the difficulties you've had! That's the power of therapy and good support at home to back it all up, not to mention the drive to get better, yourself, and figuring out what works best for you.

Always good to welcome another gamer to the site. Any particular games or franchises you prefer?

I guess at this point I'd have to call myself a casual gamer as well. I grew up playing video games almost as an addiction. I still own a trove of consoles and games and bring them out from time to time. I grew up in the days of 16 bit Sonic the Hedgehog and Donkey Kong Country, and played a lot of Doom and Warcraft II on PC. I then got really into Grand Theft Auto in the early 2000s. I've also always been big on the NHL games, since I'm a hockey fan. I tend to find I'm pretty much all-in or not-at-all-in with most games, hah! I would say I'm overall casual these days, though, as I seldom play much anymore.

But yeah, welcome, and I hope you find what you're looking for here! Smile
Welcome, and it's great you have such a supporting mom. ^_^ Mom's are the best. that and I only play a few app games... anything 3D makes me have motion sickness. lol So you are a tots top gamer to me. ^_^
Yeah i'm super thankful for all the help I got!

Also, heck yeah a gamer! I love a lot of games shooters, fighting games, laid back games like animal crossing kinda just any game that catches my eye. I'm not to good at side scroller platformers (don't know why haha). Recently I've been playing a lot of Earthbound on an emulator, it's super fun!

And same I grew up with games and love them! It's a great way to connect to my siblings too (since we all play video games haha) When I was a kid I was super into zelda and Halo, really wanna re play those. But anyway thanks for the welcome!

Yeah I love my mom!

I relate a bit some games for some reason make me nauseous or light headed, I play a few apps on my phone but since they take up space I don't have a lot haha.

P.S. thank you for considering me a top gamer lol
