Full Version: Anyone with invisible hearing aid?

A relative has an appointment coming up with an audiologist. It's a 90-minute appointment, but I don't think it will take that much time. My relative is hoping to have invisible or inner ear hearing aids. I wanted to know if anyone has ever been to an audiologist for invisible hearing aids. Mainly I wanted to know the total cost of the aids. It always pays to research and also to be prepared to barter on price. I have never worn hearing aids yet in my life and would be interested in comments from anyone who has already used so that my relative could get an idea about how it feels with the aids.

On another note, what other western medicine options are out there to improve your hearing?
My classmate wears a hearing aid from childhood. I didn't saw her for a year, but I'll tell her about your question. I know that she consulted with specialists here melbournefunctionalmedicine.com.au. She and her mother were really satisfied with the service at this medical center. But she had a simple hearing aid, I think an invisible one will be more expensive. But I understand that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll try to get information and share it with you. I wish you and your relative not to despair and stay positive: maybe doctors would help him and he won't need a hearing aid.
