has anyone ever tried under armour for sensory seeking? my therapist told me to try it, but i wanted to see if anyone has had success with it before i buy.
also, does anyone else have sensory seeking with their jaw muscles or taste buds? i tend to over eat to get that satisfaction of chewing on something crunchy. not sure of a good replacement
just replied to other post - but try a tight tshirt under clothes, something stretchy but a size too small. This is working for my boy and we are on waiting list to borrow a compression vest from OT before we buy one.
Crunching - carrot sticks that have been in the fridge perhaps or even ice cubes? Or a pencil topper designed specifically for sensory needs.

Don't crunch ice cubes no matter how great it feels. I learned the hard way how much damage it can do to your teeth. Carrots are a great option. Healthy for you and they satisfy chomping needs (at least mine). I also use gum if I need some serious chewing to calm my mouth and jaw down.

My daughter loves ice cubes--the small round ones like the restaurants use, but we don't give her the big cubes like you make at home. Gum has also been very useful in helping her to focus.
