So, guys, my question is this how many people out there are adults living with SPD? And how many would be interested in filling out a survey on their experiences with it?

I've been doing a lot of research lately, trying to find answers for my SPD and how to live with it, but the overwhelming scientific consensus is that, for adults, there just isn't any data, there have been zero studies, it is not fully recognized as its own disorder and those who do recognize it as such don't really agree on what the symptoms are.

Now, to be clear, I am an undergrad Psych student taking a year off of school because of COVID. I can't run an official or approved study. But I can follow the same format, ask questions, and gather information... and then share that with all of you who participate in the survey.

I haven't written the whole thing up yet, I just wanted to put some feelers out there to see where people stood on this, if anyone would want to participate every though it couldn't be an official study and things like that. It'd just be a Q&A survey but I have so many questions that I'd love to get data on. And the research right now just isn't there in official channels.

Just let me know guys. If you are someone who is above 18 with SPD and want to partake you can PM me your email so I can put together a list to send the survey to when it's finished. And if anyone has any survey question suggestions feel free to share.

As a disclaimer, if people feel this would not be appropriate for whatever reason I will leave it be. I just really want there to be some data somewhere on this, and right now there just isn't.

(I've posted this on a SPD sub-reddit as well. I just wanted to put it here too to see if there is additional interest.)
