hi everyone, my name is courtney and my daughter is bianca. today we finally got some answers on behavior she has had since 1 yr of age that has just gotten worse..she hasnt been evaluated as of yet but its pretty clear to doctors and myself that bianca has spd, at first i thought i would be alone but then i found this site and im so thankful there is information on this. even though my daughter is quite young its possible she may have adhd, im looking for any help, tips, products that could help, also food has been a major prob since bianca turned 1, my daughter ate regular meats and all sorts before age one and after that the only meat product is chicken nuggets, its the texture with her if any of your little ones have the same issue how/what do u prepare for fods..i always feel like im making the same things everyday for her. thank you so much

If her biggest issue is with meat, is there a reason you're trying to force her to eat meat?

My recommendation would be looking at how to cook healthy and vegetarian. Simple, healthy foods are available, and if someone's sensory issues are pushing them to being vegetarian, I see no good reason to try to force them to eat meat.
My 4 year old daughter really doesn't eat meat either. She tends to stick with chicken nuggets and that that is about it. What I tend to do is give her pediasure twice daily. I still offer meats. But she doesn't care for the textures too much. There are other stuff like TuttleTurtle said you can find in vegetarian cookbooks for good alternatives.
