Hi , Im. Heather the mom of 3 children 2 older girls and my son cayden who is 3 cayden was diagnosed with sensory integration disorder 4 weeks ago.and being hypersensitive I wanted to find a group where I can relate to other parents since this is knew to me and I have questions and would like advice. Im glad we had this diagnoses we knew something was not right. Cayden is in speech since last oct just started OT this week . Looking forward to meeting others going through the samething. I feel alone dealing with this .My husband and i are trying to get as much help and information to help are son. My husband is military for almost 20 years now and is blaming himself since he recived the anthrax shot back in 99, he thinks this has something to with our sons diagnoses. Are girls who are older are fine he had the shots after they were born.I told him the anthraxs shots had nothing to do with it. Is SPD the same as SID im not sure on that. I was also diagnosed with ADHD recently had no clue. And im in my late 30's
