I was an example person to learn how to screen for irlen syndrome yesterday and got screened and one set of overlays in my overlay color in exchange.
Way overloaded because every time they offered to take a break I declined say it was normal overload levels. It is, I'll be better tomorrow. But visual overload in particular is bad today.
So, everything on my computer is blue currently because I'm using my overlays! My overlay color is aqua+aqua+grey.
The irlen stuff is quite expensive, but the use of color is something that is really a good idea. I'm going to do homemade tinted lenses until I can afford full irlen lenses, just need to find what's best for lenses because it won't be exactly the same as the overlays.
