Hello- I'm 34 married female with 5 kids (ages 11 down to 4 months). I didn't realize I had SPD until more recently- I just thought I was wierd. I've got issues with sound, touch, and activity around me. Because my sensitivity seemed to be increasing (there was an obvious change with my last pregnancy), I've started seeing an OT and am hopeful that I will be able to find better coping skills so I'm having fewer "freak out" type moments.

We're glad you joined us. I'm sure OT will help you. My daughter has had OT for 12 weeks, and she was just re-evaluated. She's showing improvement in all areas--not remarkable improvement, but some improvement none the less. You will certainly learn new skills to adapt.
