6th grader with sensory issues

Hi,

My son had sensory issues as a toddler, had occupational therapy and did very well. Most sensory issues went away until the past couple years, different ones developed. The major one is he refuses to wash his hands, and difficulty taking showers. When he does wash his hands he compains of pain, and won't use his hands for quite awhile. He will sit on his hands. Anyone else experience this. He is going back to ot. Also, noises bother him, If I am chewing he will leave the room or cover his ears.HE's also very moody, inattentive in school. He is advanced in math but behing in reading. Any input would be appreciated thanks!
