We have had to cut back on OT because of the cost (insurance only pays for 12 sessions a year) I can practice most of the things at home except for the swing activities unfortunately, which really seem to help her be calmer and happier. I am, unfortunately, seeing the negative effects of her not being able to do this as frequently. She does 2 different ones, one they call a "superman swing" where she is on her tummy in sort of a sling and the therapist has her hold on to a stretchy band a swing around. The other they call a "horsey swing", it is a long padded beam going horizontally with a rope on each end. Has anyone had success setting up a home version of either of these?
