Therapeutic Listening Observations

I made an observations thread for the brushing protocol, and it seemed to be helpful for others, so I'm going to try to post observations for others as I start therapeutic listening as well.

I got my headphones, CD player, and some CDs today. I got things used off of ebay - you can sometimes find the headphones cheaper on ebay, so if you are looking to save money it is worth looking there. My lot of stuff off ebay wasn't quite as nice as I thought it'd be - the person who posted it messed up the description Sad, but it was useful, and still a good deal for me.

Anyways observations:

1. The Sennheiser HD 500A headphones are very comfortable.

2. As I'm starting, I can't handle listening to the Rhythm and Rhyme CD for 30 minutes. It makes me feel ill, feel really odd, and in 25 minutes get to the point where my OT and I have defined that I need to stop whatever I'm doing. What I did was stop and take the headphones off at that point and did a 25 minute listening session instead of 30 minute listening session.

3. Eating while listening can make it easier to listen.
