Hello everyone.

As I recently posted, we will soon be moving to SPDSupport.org, where the site will be larger and will include articles. I have a slight issue though - I need images to spice the site up!

I have a few of my own that I can add, and maybe a few that I could take (with my phone though - yuck, lol), but I would love to have pictures to add to the site from others. So, I would love it if people could submit some images for my consideration in adding them to the site.

What kind of pictures am I looking for?
1. Images of people with SPD. (Kids, adults, teens, etc. There is no need to attach names to them if you don't feel comfortable with that. Again, this is all up to your comfort level. If you don't want to submit an image of yourself or have your kid's picture out there on the web, even if no names are added to the page, then there is no need to submit any.)

2. Images of therapeutic exercises and/or tools.

3. Artwork, even if it's just a scanned copy of something your kid drew, lol. If I feel I can use it, I will. In fact, perhaps that would be a great way to get some self expression out.

4. Anything that might pertain to SPD, like a picture of someone going through a symptom of SPD.

5. Relatively unrelated and/or scenery shots. I may not use too many of these, since it can be a bit confusing at times when the images don't really relate to the page contents. However, if you have a great image that is unrelated, I wouldn't mind having it on the pile for consideration.

Basically, I am looking for ways to make the web pages more appealing to the eye, without having to use the free stock images out there or compromising people's comfort, security, or privacy. You can post them here to this thread, PM them, or post them in the gallery and give me a link.

I will not be putting any images on the new site without people's expressed, written permission. I am merely giving you guys a chance to get an image of yours out on the web.

You will retain the rights to these images. I would take them down as soon as you asked me to, should the need arise. I want to make the place more attractive and interesting, not unsafe or trashy looking!

So, if you are interested, feel free to submit images.

I have a few pictures you might like, I'm not really excited about putting my daughter's face on such a public display though. How do you feel about photoshopped pictures that are either cropped or face blurred some? I can try to do it as tastefully as possible.

I can't really decide on any photos until I have seen them of course, but so long as it's done well and doesn't look tacky or anything, it would be usable.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering what articles I am looking to add pictures to, just visit pretty much any page on SPD Parent SHARE:

Almost every page from there is being moved to the new site soon, so the images would be for placement on any one of those pages, most likely.

I'll see if I can find any that would be appropriate to use!

Cool. That would be much appreciated. Then again, it is completely up to you. I am in no particular rush. Some of the articles can be posted and images added later even, just to spice them up. These articles (most of them) have been online for years without images anyway, hehe.

I added a photo to the gallery. I had to crop it. Do you want me to submit the photo elsewhere, or can you use it from the gallery?
