How many of you have pressure vests for your children? Do you find the weighted ones work any better? What sort of situations do you find them helpful in?

I made my own vest for my daughter using a swim vest, cutting the seam and inserting some small metal plates between the foam layers to make it heavier. It was snug on her and did calm her down. It's getting too small for her and we recently bought a weighted belt, which also works to calm her down if she's getting agitated. Since we put her on the Feingold diet, we haven't had to use it.

I've wondering about DIY pressure vests, so I really like your idea LAC1961! I may try that. I'm also looking into the Feingold diet, but don't really know too much about it. Would you minds sharing some of your experiences?
