RE: Your Favorite Movie? - LynnNBoys - 02-28-2011 Some of my favorite movies are: Princess Bride, Shawshenk Redemption, In Bruges, Avatar, Notting Hill, Ever After, Time Traveler's Wife, Star Wars & Star Trek, most of the Pixar movies (Nemo, Incredibles, Up, Monsters Inc). RE: Your Favorite Movie? - BusyMum - 03-01-2011 Notting Hill was lovely... haven't seen The Time Traveller's Wife but Eric Bana is a lovely Australian actor. He was in another favourite film of mine, an Australian film called The Castle... about a man whose home was truly his castle and his refusal to sell it to an airport developer. The film has become a big part of our culture, so many of us quote lines from the film. One of the sons in the film (not Bana) always read out advertisments from a classified advertising newspaper - a print version of EBay I guess you'd call it - to his dad and then tell him how much the asking price was and Dad would always respond "Tell him he's dreaming!". I think my husband says that line at least once a week. Apart from that, I have a quiet fondness for Nicholas Cage - Moonstruck is a favourite but that only tells you how old I am probably. I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings series but was glad there wasn't a fourth one, it was a bit much in the end. Monsters Inc is hysterical and we are repeatedly watching the Harry Potters here these days. RE: Your Favorite Movie? - Catherine - 03-04-2011 My favorite movies are Annie Hall, When Harry Met Sally, and Amelie. I can watch those ones over and over. Busymum, my husband is a big Nic Cage fan too. RE: Your Favorite Movie? - Near - 03-07-2011 Of those I've seen lately, I would say Toy Story 3 is my favourite - I saw it twice, and I cried both times >.< Generally I like everything by Pixar, though. I also love Spirited Away and Forrest Gump. RE: Your Favorite Movie? - kaworuchan - 04-08-2011 I just saw "Tekkonkinkreet" last night, and all I have to say is, "WOW!" That truly is one of the greatest animated films ever made. It is not the kind of film that I can watch over and over again, but then again, a lot of the best films ever made turn out to be that way. In any case, it should be mandatory viewing for anybody who believes that anime cannot tell an emotionally engaging story. RE: Your Favorite Movie? - Baigh - 04-22-2011 Dear Lovely People,,,,,I have very good experience of watching so many movies some are the most favorite . So I am going to share here the movies that are most favorite of mine as below Avatar The Illusionist Resident Evil RE: Your Favorite Movie? - chasenDESTINY - 07-30-2011 The Rock Titanic Meet Joe Black RE: Your Favorite Movie? - LaneSensorina - 07-31-2011 I like art documentaries. I just watched one last, it was called "Art and Copy" it was about the history of advertising. It was really interesting. Of course great visuals and cool characters... and fascinating history. Netflix is the most awesome thing ever invented (besides the iPhone) My husband I just determined a genre we seem to be drawn to... dysfunctional family funeral movies I know that's really weird. What can I say. So naturally, I loved the HBO series "6 feet under" Baigh, I loved Avitar too. Some movies have to be seen on the big screen to be fully appreciated. Avitar was an excellent big screen movie. No, but I read the book. It was good!
