Do you build alot of activities into his day to play with liquids? We used to do spray bottles of water in the bath and outside on the fences, shaving cream on the wall is a hit at bathtime.
RE procedure before putting shoes on is a bit unrealistic isn't it???? The OT obviously doesn't have his own kids but I definitely would try to so some of it, at least the jumping and running on carpet, especially the things he can do on his own so that maybe it becomes his routine for life that he owns (the water business would not get a look in my house)

This thread is older, but my son has the same issue with shoes. He will wear uggs and emus though. They are a dream and have been a life saver.
