new guy here - Titan1977 - 11-21-2013
hello I am Titan1977. Titan is just a nickname because there's something about me that makes my 6'6" tall appearance easily remembered that has NOTHING to do with JUST my size. and because of that everyone remembers the titan! I am here because IF I have SPD I could use the help learning about it. I do have a diagnosis of asperger's syndrome but not a diagnosis of SPD yet and I may very well NOT have it and just not know it yet. I do KNOW I have symptoms very similiar to sensory modulation disorder which I never really understood and since I was not diagnosed with asperger's UNTIL I was 32 in 2009 it is extremely likely that this got missed to.
I LIKE doing math(no actual talent with it just enjoy it and by extension have a lot of skill potentially depending on the type) particularly probabilities and I also like playing roleplaying games like dungeons and dragons, as well as video games, music (my favorite music is from a band called "Two Steps From Hell" they are Christians and just wanted to make a thought provoking name for their band) also I am into a unusual game called dagohir. It's a full contact live action roleplaying game but it can be described as a glorified nerf baseball bat fight as well and the reason why I call it full contact is that it CAN get as rough as a football game. I also play some video games as well.
The reason why I am here is more due to the fact that my friend Dan told me about this site and I figured well why not sign up right now? I MIGHT very well need the advice about dealing with SPD in the future if i get diagnosed with it. please read my profile before you post here if you have questions because I think my bio will answer some of those questions so you don't have to waste time asking me.
