RE: New member, mom of teen with SPD - Jmelda1 - 05-28-2017 Hi Jagmom The school system might do testing for SPD under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), but you'd have to make the case that the symptoms are adversely affecting your child's educational performance to get the testing done. More than that, I don't really know. Some school systems are more educated and easier to work with than others.
