I don't know how to help him - Carlylane - 05-25-2018 Hello. Today my son's school told me he has a hard time engaging in anything. That some kids have a low threshold for stimulation he has a very high one. It takes a lot to get a reaction out of him. But this effects him in many ways. paying attention in school, understanding directions, making eye contact, and forming relationships. Does anyone have any idea how I can help him? At my meeting the school said, "we will have to rack our brains to figure out how to tap into him". Anyone else have this issue? When outside, he often runs on all fours like a lion would and says he is "on the hunt". It could be a very good gate way into peaking his interest in something.
