Hello - momwhoprays05 - 06-12-2010 Hi im new to the forum. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chelsea and my husband and I have two sons with SPD and also secondary mood disorders. They are 5 and 2 we also have a typical 3 year old daughter. We just found out our youngest son has spd and its been really hard to except. We've dealt with our oldests spd and mood problems for 5 years and despite OT and speech and esd early intervention its getting worse as he gets older. We wanted so much for our other two to be spared these chalenges. Any supportive comments welcome! I may be on chat from time to time. Thanks all! RE: Hello - mawkinberd - 06-13-2010 Hi Chelsea! Glad to see a parent here. I also have a child; my son is 19 months old, and he already exhibits some early signs of mild spd, like sound sensitivity (rather like mine, hehe). So I'm excited to get more parents around to get the discussion going. Looking forward to talking to you some more!
