RE: Toddler won't eat, barely sleeps
I can relate. My oldest has been diagnosed with spd and I tell you as a baby he was a challenge! We had a normal pregnancy/ birth, I eat like a saint. But for him it's genetics. Dad also spd and has lived his whole life without knowing why he does things differently.
Anyways, our ot suggested using those soft light bears. We give our son a flashlight which seems to hold him in been for a least half the night. Also we have white noise playing all night. And as soon as he's up there's classical music playing in our house. He triggers for auditory sensitivities. Ultimately he's in bed with us though. I think the only comfort I have knowing as this is all temporary and he's not going to be 20 and sleeping with mom and dad. For now if our boy needs the smell and closeness of us....then so be it. If you haven't yet I'd highly recommend getting him tested by a OT. They can help make life a ton better.
Good luck!
