Never get bored...?
This is random but I read somewhere that some people with SPD never get bored. It may have been some random site on the internet, I can't remember if it was credible.
Anyway, my boyfriend claims he never gets bored. He says as a kid he could entertain himself for hours and hours by just making up stories in his head. To this day he says he's never been bored before.
Does anyone else never get bored? lol it's a random question, i know.

*Moved to SPD General Forum, as this is an SPD related question, and not technically off-topic*
Well, it's true that I can entertain myself for hours on end by just making up stories in my head, but it's not true that I never get restless. If I'm waiting for something to happen, the time seems to go forever (that's typical though), and I get restless. Sure, I can retreat into my own world, but I wouldn't say I'm not ever bored.
I'm not sure where you read this either. I don't recall stumbling upon it in all my reading. Perhaps it was merely someone's rambling on a blog? I see there is some grain of truth to it for those of us who have over active imaginations, but I'm just not so sure it's really true. It is interesting though, and thanks for posting it .

lol I don't know if it's true, but I rarely get bored. I often easily get distracted, but that's because I have so many things I enjoy doing. Perhaps they're trying to draw a correlation between being an introvert and having SPD? I find that doubtful, but it's fun to think about.

I can entertain myself with stories for hours, but I do get bored if that is all that I have available for me to do day after day.
I have been trapped in Ennui before (bored with being bored). Several months of not leaving my house and my routine not changing enough.
