That's still realizing you're different though. The fact that they're the ones that aren't normal, not yourself, doesn't change that you and them are not the same. The realizing that you and them are not the same is what I'm curious about.


I didn't realize that anyone habituates to sensory input until I read in a book earlier this year that people for a long time didn't realize that high functioning autistic people have a high rate of not habituating because of not knowing that they're abnormal.
