Hi!

I am a mom of a 8 year old SPD boy! I am very excited have become a new Host for this site! As of right now I am a sub teacher and I have come across so many kids with SPD that are just over looked or talked about as behavioral and it just is very upsetting to me and I think this is a good outlet for me to get it out of my system and to find resources to go back and help the teacher out. I am right now having issues wiht my son and social problems at school. New school year, new teacher, new classmates, ther are kids pickin gon his specch and language and he just hauls off and hits them. THe school denies him OT which I have such a fight going on for that, his new teacher is not the right fit for him, he comes home with migraines if it is too noisey in the class. once I feel like we are getting it togehter something pops up that is just not working again. So, I feel that there is going to always be something once the other is figured out. My hobbies, drawing, Muay Thai kickboxing, I make weighted blankets, I am trying to find a place to host a group, my kids, I just love to be busy! So that is about it, I cannot wait to get to know you guys! Thanks
