wow I hadn't even considered this.
Music has always moved me, mostly classical and choral. I would agree with Alicat on most of her choices as well. I can't do "dance"/"rave" music - really at all. It just grates at me. Like nails + chalkboard.
I listen to Libera a lot when trying to focus/calm.
Classical music has always helped my SPD son as well - we always just thought it was a normal calming thing. We'd switch stations et voila - most times, he'd calm down. He does like a lot of music with good beat/rythm, and enjoys dance music like his dad. I often find him singing to himself
