It has been a long time since I have been on a forum, I have to think about what to type, so I copied the intro questions and am going to introduce myself that way.
1. What brings you here? I am a mother of 2 Autistic boys. My oldest is 20 and my youngest is 17. I am legal guardian over my oldest. He has some SPD and his autism is labeled as ASD Level 2 with substantial support. My youngest is ASD with associated features including prominent sensory issues.
2. What is your relations to someone with SPD? Do you have it? a child of yours? Do you treat SPD kids as a professional? My husband, my kids, and I all have some form of SPD
3. Share a little of your journey if you'd like. My journey trying to help my kids has been a headache.
4. Is there any immediate help you need? Looking for ways to help my kids
5. SPD doesn't run your life! What are you or your child's gifts? Interests? My interests very. My kids love to play on their computers. My youngest is interested in Pixel Art and wants to make video games. My oldest doesn't stray from his computer.
6. What do you like to do in your spare time? Any hobbies or interests? I like to read and listen to music in my spare time.
Want to know more just ask and I will answer as best as I can.

Welcome, in a way it's good that you know you know partly what your boys are going through. That and yeah, sometimes it's hard when people don't really understand what SPD is. Whatever questions you have, ask and I will do my best to help. <3
