You are getting help for your kid fairly young. Smile

SPD just happens (often in families), but it is a pretty common feature that people learn to live with.

If your symptoms are real bad and you got no help as a child, then some accomodations by others as an adult really help.

Since your child is getting assistance so young, he might be able to grow out of some of the severity of SPD so that it just becomes a mild annoyance in life versus a serious problem.
